VedicScripturesInc  Search this site Home/मुख्य पृष्ठ‎ > ‎ Chatuh Shloki Bhagwat / चतुः श्लोकी भागवत चतुः श्लोकी भागवत(मूल संस्कृत) चतुः श्लोकी भागवत(हिंदी भावानुवाद) Chatuh Shloki Bhagwat(English) श्रीभगवानुवाच - अहमेवासमेवाग्रे नान्यद् यत् सदसत् परम्। पश्चादहं यदेतच्च योऽवशिष्येत सोऽस्म्यहम् ॥ १॥ श्री भगवान कहते हैं - सृष्टि से पूर्व केवल मैं ही था। सत्, असत् या उससे परे मुझसे भिन्न कुछ भी नहीं था। सृष्टि न रहने पर (प्रलय काल में) भी मैं ही रहता हूँ। यह सब सृष्टि रूप भी मैं ही हूँ और जो कुछ इस सृष्टि, स्थिति तथा प्रलय से बचा रहता है, वह भी मै ही हूँ॥१॥ Lord says - I only existed in the beginning(before any creation). There was neither manifest nor un-manifest or anything beyond both which is other than me. I am all which is visible. Whatever remains after annihilation is also me.॥1॥ ऋतेऽर्थं यत् प्रतीयेत न प्रतीयेत चात्मनि। तद्विद्यादात्मनो मायां यथाऽऽभासो यथा तमः ॥२॥ जो मुझ मूल तत्त्व के अतिरिक्त (सत्य सा) प्रतीत होता(दिखाई देता) है परन्तु आत्मा में प्रतीत नहीं होता (दिखाई नहीं देता), उस अज्ञान को आत्मा की माया समझो जो प्रतिबिम्ब या अंधकार की भांति मिथ्या है॥२॥ Whatever appears to be substantial besides me, has no reality in itself. Know this ignorance as my illusory power Maya. It is unreal like a reflection or darkness.॥2॥ यथा महान्ति भूतानि भूतेषूच्चावचेष्वनु। प्रविष्टान्यप्रविष्टानि तथा तेषु न तेष्वहम्॥३॥ जैसे पंचमहाभूत (पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु और आकाश) संसार के छोटे-बड़े सभी पदार्थों में प्रविष्ट होते हुए भी उनमें प्रविष्ट नहीं हैं, वैसे ही मैं भी सबमें व्याप्त होने पर भी सबसे पृथक् हूँ।॥३॥ As five universal elements(earth, water, fire, air and space) pervade everything in the universe and at the same time they exist without them; similarly, I also pervade everything I create and at the same time I exist without them.॥3॥ एतावदेव जिज्ञास्यं तत्त्वजिज्ञासुनाऽऽत्मनः। अन्वयव्यतिरेकाभ्यां यत् स्यात् सर्वत्र सर्वदा॥४॥ आत्म-तत्त्व को जानने की इच्छा रखने वाले के लिए इतना ही जानने योग्य है कि अन्वय (सृष्टि) अथवा व्यतिरेक (प्रलय) क्रम में जो तत्त्व सर्वत्र एवं सर्वदा(स्थान और समय से परे) रहता है, वही आत्मतत्त्व है॥४॥ A person willing to know the supreme truth, should only know that whatever exist eternally(beyond time) and everywhere(beyond space), during the process of creation and annihilation is the ultimate truth.॥4॥ Comments View as Desktop My Sites Powered By Google Sites
